Kenji Shinagawa is a guitarist and a multi-stringed-instrumentalist based in Brooklyn, NY.  He has toured nationally and internationally, and recorded with a range of artists and bands including the acclaimed indie rock duo Mates of State and Americana singer/song-writer Riley Etheridge Jr.  Other collaborations include The Nathan Parker Smith Large Ensemble, Runaway Dorothy, Threefifty, and Hee Young.  You can find him adding his own textures to a variety of songs and music with his guitar, voice, mandolin, ukulele, banjo, bass, and lap steel.  As a composer and arranger, Kenji has two releases under his own name: Perhaps, Drawing Again (2007) and Spectacles (2014).
